Join us for Indigenous-Led Climate Summit Week, featuring workshops, live art, performances, and community gatherings that honor Indigenous knowledge and stewardship of the earth. Experience movement, dialogue, and creative expression as we unite to uplift Indigenous voices and inspire collective climate action.
This October, Dancers Unlimited wraps up our Governors Island residency with Ho'oulu, inspired by our roots in NYC and Hawaiʻi. Join us for dance, live art, workshops, and gatherings celebrating growth, renewal, and connection across cultures. Ho'oulu—“to grow” or “to inspire”—invites everyone to reflect, celebrate, and look ahead together.

Pop Pilates is a dance on the mat that fuses upbeat music with powerful Pilates moves for a fun, full-body workout. All levels welcome! Bring your mat and get ready to sweat, sculpt, and smile.
Learn about timing and basic of footwork of Salsa On2 (NY Style) We will also introduce basic partner work concepts. Bring shoes that have little traction, socks are bare feet is ok!
Featuring special guest AAPI Belong who will be providing a Story Station to collect oral and written / drawing stories. The stories will be braided into our forever story lei that will grow in our house, and be embodied through improv dance performances. A free lavender scented candle is provided for everyone who contributes a story.

Donation-based workshops include “Braiding Intimacies”- a forever-lei making and genealogical movement workshop with Dancers Unlimited’s director Linda Kuo, traditional Filipinx tattoo drawing with visiting artists from Plush Tattoo (O`ahu / Portland), and Pilates Mat with Dancers Unlimitedʻs company manager, Lian Kizner.
The special donation-based workshops help contribute to our fundraiser to bridge the funding gap for our Governors Island programs due to the recent federal funding cut.
