MONTHLY THEME: Filipinx American History Month / Edible Tales
We are planting seeds for a new season as we embark on our upcoming tour of Edible Tales, DU invites you to come to Governors Island to experience immersive installations, works in progress, and hands-on workshops. Supported by the NEFA National Project Creation and Touring Grant, Edible Tales will engage with communities in the Tri-State area, Hawai`i and California to explore community-centered research and performance about cultural heritage, social justice and environmental sustainability. We are also welcoming Saung Budaya, who will be exploring the theme of Harvest festival, examining how different regions celebrate their harvest/Hunting seasons through dance and music.
